Monteverde

Trying to photograph the rain forest was the most frustrating and disheartening thing. It really made me realize how much I need to work on my skills.

However, I had decided on this trip that I wanted to fully experience the things I was seeing and not spend the entirety of my travels looking through the lens.  In fact, my two favorite days are the two that I didn’t have my camera with me.

I’m not a travel photographer, or a professional in any sense. I really need to just chill and get over the idea of taking award-winning photos while visiting other parts of the world.

At least I can look back at half-shitty photos and still remember how amazing it was to be in the clouds.
